Lenses 

Fish lens 

A fish lens is a ultra wide-angle lens that produces strong visuial distortion intended to create a wide panoramic or hemispherical image.  

Ultra-wide angle lens 

Ultra-wide angle is usually used for landscape photography, it is a lens with a focal length is shorter than the short side of film or sensor.

Wide angle 

A wide angle is used to capture big moments, the focal length is substantially smaller than the focal length of a normal lens for a given film plane.

Standard/ Normal 

A normal lens is a lens that reproduces a field of view that generally looks "natural" to a human observer under normal viewing condition.

Telephoto 

In photography and cinematography, a telephoto is a specific type of a long-focus lens in which the physical length of the lens is shorter than the focal length.

LO1-Marcel Christ

Marcel Christ focuses and specialises with still life photography, capturing movement that the human eye wouldn't be able to process fast enough. The lighting is studio and with the black background creates a harsh and dramatic emotion to the image. The glass is so fragile that it is juxtaposed with the fast violent movement being captured in this photograph. This photo also falls into the genre of fashion as Chanel is a high fashion design used in magazine such as Vogue. A photography element used in this image is deep depth of field as everything is in focus to show how its all important. The reason why Marcel used deep depth of filed is to emphasises how dramatic but glamorise the action is. Marcel intension for this image was that its elegant yet powerful as the perfume and the explosion contrast each other.

In my opinion Marcel has done this to create a harsh illusion on such a delicate but glamourize perfume.
