Cropping and Scaling
I mainly cropped my images to get rid of any unnecessary objects that were included in my photos. This helped emphasises the focal point of my images and the importance. I also cropped my images to help layer my photos, as only certain parts were needed in the photos when layering. When scaling my images
Layers
Layering was a important aspect for one of my photos, I was signifying the dominance and power in an outfit and location, so layering images helped double exposure as well as reflecting the meaning of the photo. Layering was also important as I had to blend the layers into the main/background image, so it was one image, as well as placing them in effective places to gain the best effect, to emphasise my meaning. I changed the opacity of the layers to blend them into they background, this created a ghost effect, which worked well with the photo.
Green Screen
I did not use a green screen in my photography, as I felt this would have taken away the feel of the city and location out of my photo; the location was a huge part of my intension for the shoot, so it wouldn't have fit in with the brief. However if I was to considered using a green screen, it would have come in handy for cropping and layering images. It is easy to select models from a plain background, which I could then place onto another photo, which for my shoot would have been a Sheffield location. I couldn't get access to a green screen unfortunately, which would have made the editing easier for me.
Text Image
I did considered adding text to my image to reflect the meaning on my photo; however I did not add text as I felt this would have made the photo to cluttered and may even take the attention away from the fashion and location. Using text would have been a significant part to the photo, which wouldn't have fit in with the brief my intension and this is why I did not use text in my photos.
Time of the day
To fit my photography with the brief I needed to take my photos outside in a Sheffield location. This meant that time of the day was very important when taking photos, as I was using natural lighting. The lighting I wanted needed to be high key, as this connoted a happy, enthusiastic emotion which would be reflected through the photo. As my photos were taken in high key natural lighting the aperture and capture were put on a low and fast setting, so that I could get the best result.
