LO5: Meaning and Fitting the Brief
There is a lot of things that resembles Sheffield identity, and it was a hard decision choosing which idea to use to fit in the brief. From photographer I researched I decided that fashion in Sheffield would be the best idea to link to Sheffield's identity for me. However the fashion styles I used couldn't be any fashion styles across the world, they had to be Sheffield related. Sheffield is known for its urban, grunge, hipster style, but I still went out and researched the fashion that occurred in Sheffield. I ended up with a lot of styles that reflect fashion and Sheffield.
Using fashion in my photography helped create narrative, especially with linking it to Sheffield. I have brought many genres of Fashion, and was able to use lots of different camera techniques. I also got to experiment with editing my pictures, especially with colour and darkness, as this helped represent the fashions emotions to with the brief.
