Sketch 1
A wide landscape shot is being denoted in this sketch. The reason why I am planning to take wide shot photo, is because I am wanting to include both the location and fashion, and this shot type is effective to use. This photo will be taken on a Canon EOS 650 DSLR and I shall be using a tripod to level the photo out. The location will be around Matilda street in a alley way, as this represents Sheffield, as it is around the City Centre. The meaning to this image will be how fashion styles reflect and represent Sheffield's culture, and what emotions are brought out of the fashion. This is why I have drawn the model to pose with attitude, as this is how I will be directing my model on the shoot. The connotations to this sketch is, sophistication, confidence and power.

The denotations for this sketch is a long portrait shot, with a slight low angle to connote power. I will be using a Canon EOS 650 DSRL camera and the location will be in a alley way, which will represent Sheffield, as it is on Matilda Street. This image is reflecting the Grunge style that is a trending style that is seen frequently in Sheffield, so this grunge style both represents the fashion genre and Sheffield. In the sketch the model is posing in front of the location, the background will be out of focus, which will create the effect shallow depth of field. This is because the fashion grunge is the most important in this sketch, so the background must be out of focus.
