LO2- Target Audience Profile

These images above are only a few representations of my target audience. Overall I am concentrating to aim my photography at young fashion admiring/blogging people; however I would also expand my target audience to local people of Sheffield, as well as people who have a passion and love for photography. In my shoots my models are teenagers, so already I will have a teenage base audience, and this is why I have brought two popular social media sites, Facebook and Instagram as it is very popular. As my main theme throughout my photography will be fashion, I have added a popular shop Top shop, which sells a variety of different fashion styles, linking to my idea of fashion identity. I have included two popular fashion magazine, Vogue and Elle, as people who will view my photography will have a love for fashion and these two are the top fashion magazines people read.

Demographically speaking the spending power for people viewing my work would be B, C1, C2 and D. The lifestyle would be Settled Suburban's, Urban Ventures and Nest Builders. The reason why I would demographically categorise B (middle class) people to view my work is the genres of fashion. Classy Casual and Sophisticated fashion will be included in my photography, which would appeal to them. I have also said that D (working class) will be viewing my photography, as other fashion styles featured are, casual, grunge, tomboy and so on. The fashion styles are at resanble prices, so Catergory D would potentially be interesting in my work. Anyone would be able to view my photography as Fashion is based on everyone and there is no harmful or offensive materials contained in my photography.

My images are going to be presented in a popular gallery in Sheffield City Centre called Millennium Gallery. As I have based my fashion styles and people who I have seen wear them frequently in Sheffield, many people who will walk in to the Gallery will see and be able to relate to my photography. What clothing you wear is apart of your Identity, so people who see the photography and recognised the fashion design will be able to resemble the photos.

Merchandises is an effect way to gain attention with my exhibition. As the style of my photography is Street fashion I could potential put my photos on clothing, as it relates to the fashion side, or eve create posters that I could sell to people who view my photography. I could even print small photos onto mugs and drink mats, to gain more attention from the public. Tate Modern Gallery in London do this, they put art onto fridge magnets, to tourist or local people can almost take a memory home. However I would have to look at the cost of this.
